Located along US-218 just south of Washburn, this steel stringer bridge crosses Miller Creek.
Built in 1939 to replace an older bridge, this bridge features three steel stringer spans, set onto concrete and stone substructures. The beams are arranged four per span.
The bridge is easily accessible from US-218, although it is oftentimes hidden by brush. The piers on the bridge are made of concrete, while the abutments are concrete capped stone. This may imply that the original bridge here was a truss span.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, with no serious defects noted.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
